Our website aims to be the main gateway to information for industry professionals worldwide. There are many facets to the PLASA organization. At its heart is the Professional Lighting and Sound Association, a leading trade body for the industry, representing just under 500 members worldwide. PLASA also owns the annual PLASA Show in London, and is the publisher of Lighting&Sound International and Lighting&Sound America magazines and the respected LSI Online News service.

PLASA Active on Lobbying Front
PLASA has commissioned Ranelagh International, a political & parliamentary consultancy, to assist on a number of issues, including clarification of the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive and the upcoming radio spectrum auction that will affect many radio microphone users and manufacturers. Tell Europe just what you need with regards to your professional wireless applications
A European frequency authority group has been set up to compile the professional wireless application requirements in a Spectrum Requirement Document (SRDoc), which, when compiled will become the official document used to indicate to the spectrum regulators all the spectrum needs, not just today but in the future.
