Aims
To provide candidates with further training in rope access techniques in preparation for those looking to progress their knowledge, particularly in preparation for moving into a supervisory capacity.
Who should attend?
Candidate must be previously qualified to IRATA Level I standard and must demonstrate that they have completed a minimum of 1 year and 1000 hours experience in rope access work. Experience should include a variety of work situations and techniques. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
Course Content
Training will include both practical and classroom sessions. The course includes rigging of rope systems for general operations, rescue and recovery training. Candidates will also learn to rescue an unconscious casualty, the use of hauling, lowering and cableways for rescue.
